Insect & Disease Control on trees:

Insects basically break down into two categories: Foliar Damage / Sucking Insects & Boring Insects.

We begin with a proper diagnosis, followed by a treatment regimen, sometimes involving more than one application to kill multiple generations of breeding insects.

• Our worst pests in the Lehigh Valley are: Adelgids, Gypsy Moths, Spider Mites, Japanese Beetles, Lacebugs, Aphids, Scale, various boring insects, Bagworm and Fall Webworm.
• Diseases basically break down into two categories as well: Bacterial Diseases & Fungal Diseases.Each disease must be treated differently and at various points during the year, optimally before significant damage occurs.

While treating for insects and disease is often necessary, a cost-effective and healthy preventative measure is annual Tree & Shrub Fertilization. It’s necessary for trees just as vitamins are to a healthy man or woman.

Tree work – Pruning:

Removing dead and dying limbs eliminates places for insects and fungus to live and grow, plus it removes excess weight, protecting trees during high winds and ice storms.

Tree work – Removal:

While we strive to preserve all trees, some removals are unavoidable. With the safety of our team and your property in mind, we can remove trees of any shape and size, utilizing technical rigging and more commonly – bucket trucks.

We chip all branches and remove all wood, leaving your yard neat and clean, like we found it!

Tree work –Stump grinding and replacement:

When tree replacement is not needed, we will remove the stump and grindings. When requested, we backfill the void with topsoil and replant grass.

If a replacement tree is desired, especially along city streets, we will help you select the right tree for that specific environment and install it. We will also educate you on how to best care for your new tree.

Bracing & cabling:

When trees need outside support, we can install braces and cables on weak limbs or stress cracks.

Emergency work:

While we don’t work 24 hours a day, often we can provide same day or next day service for your emergencies.
